NA v Nottinghamshire County Council

NA –v- Nottinghamshire County Council

As the Supreme Court term draws to a close judgement is still awaited for our client in the case of NA (Armes) v Nottinghamshire County Council.

The judgement will determine whether a Local Authority can be held liable for the actions of foster parents with whom they place children in their care. The key issue for our client in this case is whether Nottinghamshire County Council is liable to her in respect of acts of abuse perpetrated against her by foster parents (Mrs Alison and Mr Mark Blakely) whilst in the care of Nottinghamshire County Council.
